Wolves At The Door – Forgiveness

Wolves At The Door – Forgiveness

At RoarFm, we do love a bit of Wolves At The Door (we reviewed their ‘121212’ track last year which you can find here: https://roarfm.wordpress.com/2013/04/22/wolves-at-the-door-121212/) and we are delighted to be able to bring you a cheeky review of ‘Forgiveness’ (which sadly never made it onto the EP)!

This tune is instantly appealing and the lyrics are beautifully crafted and delivered with real passion. There is a hint of Bowie-meets-Buzzcocks in this tune but Wolves At The Door definitely have a style of their own. Dan Martin’s vocals are powerful and his searing vibrato builds up the intensity of the emotion in the chorus.

These guys are seriously tight. The beefy rhythm section packs a punch, energetically driving the track and adding texture with changing beats. ‘Forgiveness’ is immensely addictive and Wolves At The Door are exploding onto the music scene. The only question is ‘Are You Ready?’

ReVerbed – Uncommonwealth

This new offering from ReVerbed is raucous, punchy and everything you’d expect to hear from this stellar band.

These guys have been working hard and it has paid off – They have had airplay on BBC Introducing and were nominated for Kerrang’s Best British Newcomer.

Definitely one to watch!

The Jellycats – T.W.A.T

These guys are Fresh. With a capital F.

The Jellycats are a Ska-Punk band with a fierce energy and upbeat groove and ‘T-W-A-T’ (taken from their debut album which can be downloaded free here http://thejellycats.bandcamp.com/) shows that these guys mean business.

Instantly hooky, this track is filled with attitude, awesome vocals and a kick ass guitar solo. It really is the stuff that ska-filled dreams are made of.

This band is definitely one to watch! You should check out their website and download their music!! http://www.thejellycats.com/#/

Trevor’s Head – Pieces Of You

These guys are immense. Chunky guitar, gritty vocals and raw energy that knows no bounds. What more could you ask for?!

‘Pieces Of You’ is a meaty, raucous offering which makes the listener want to dive straight into the first available mosh pit. Topped off by great melody and a superb solo, the band’s musical passion literally pours out of this tune.

Seriously you need to see these guys live. Like now.

There is only one glaring question: Who is Trevor? And why do they have his head? (ok, two questions…)

Farewell, My Love – Mirror Mirror

Taken from their second EP, one thing is clear: this track is intense.

From the heavy, pulsing guitars and drums to the melodic riffs and piercing vocals, Farewell, My Love know how to make you sit up and listen!

Theatrical, emo-punk-rockers, these guys know how to put on a show – and their passion for music is evident in every note they play in ‘Mirror Mirror’.

‘Mirror Mirror’ also includes a pretty epic guitar solo. You need to hear it.

The Vindickers – Horrormore

Well what can we say? This tune is chunky with a side of beefy riffage.

Great melody, intense rhythm and vocals, with a touch of the Alice Cooper, all come together to form a superb, fast paced, immensely enjoyable track.

‘Horrormore’ is the cracking new single from The Vindickers’ second album and you can grab a copy here: https://itunes.apple.com/gb/album/horrormore-single/id599415887
